You did it.

Thanks to your generosity and resilience, Fight Back Colorado went three for three this year and accomplished our goal: removing three anti-equality state legislators, and replacing them with three elected officials who will do the right thing and support civil unions.

For the first time in Colorado, a public campaign was waged to go after anti-equality elected officials – and we successfully took out every candidate we targeted. And we sent a clear message: Coloradans are fighting back against those who stand in the way of equality – and we’re winning.

We also know that our impact goes beyond Colorado and this election cycle.  You helped create a new narrative for supporters of equality – we won’t play the part of the victim after you stand against us; we’ll come after you.

In doing this, you helped illustrate the effectiveness of another powerful tool to our collective efforts to advance equality – the knowledge that opposition to equality legislation could cost you your legislative seat.

You did it! ALL THREE of Fight Back Colorado's targets went down! Coloradans rejected Rep. Cindy Acree, Rep. Robert Ramirez, and Rep. J. Paul Brown. That means we now have three more pro-civil unions voices in the state legislature!

Voting Is Fighting Back

We're just two days away from election day in Colorado! Because of YOUR help, Fight Back Colorado has had the resources to already make a big impact for gay Coloradans and our families. One: we've shown that the gay community and our allies are ready to fight, that we're not backing down, and that frankly, we are a political force to be reckoned with! Two: we've made it absolutely clear that under no circumstances will we allow our state legislature play politics with our lives again. Those leaders who we have been able to strategically target are feeling the burn of Fight Back Colorado's political power.

I've had enough

You might not be surprised that anti-gay Focus on the Family isn't a fan of Fight Back Colorado's work to unseat anti-equality legislators. But no matter how much you know that, it's still jarring to see the out of touch, misguided anti-gay mailer that they're distributing to voters. Help us combat Focus on the Family by joining One Colorado's phone bank on Sunday here.

What If

Fight Back Colorado is making an impact. With your help we've been able to support a strategic and strong campaign that continues to bombard our target districts with one thing: the truth. Through our mailers to voters and our TV ad, we're making a strong impact, letting voters know the truth about the candidates. We are so close now, and it's important we keep up the pressure during these last critical days. When Election Day has come and gone, I don't want to wonder "What If" for Fight Back Colorado.
