You did it! ALL THREE of Fight Back Colorado's targets went down! Coloradans rejected Rep. Cindy Acree, Rep. Robert Ramirez, and Rep. J. Paul Brown. That means we now have three more pro-civil unions voices in the state legislature!
Fight Back Colorado could not have done this work without you. Thank you. You spread the word to friends and family, you contributed to our efforts, this is your victory! With your help, Fight Back Colorado has sent a clear message to Colorado legislators, and elected officials across the country: stand in the way of LGBT equality, and we're coming after you. And we win.
Not only were we victorious in all three of our races, but we now have a pro-equality majority in the legislature, clearing the way for a civil unions passage in 2012.
Our tactics have been strong and targeted. We played a significant role in 3 state house races. We fought hard, and it paid off.
Fighting for civil unions with you has been an honor. This victory is twofold: we've established that LGBT folks in Colorado, and our allies, are a political force to be reckoned with, and we've helped set up the state legislature for a civil unions win.
We urge you to stay in the fight with us until we finish the job and win civil unions for all.
